Description

Crafted by dublo studio, this cabinet presents a thoughtful engagement with engineered wood. Its construction acknowledges the ubiquitous presence of fibreboard in contemporary furniture, here valorizing its inherent character rather than concealing it. The rectilinear silhouette, suggestive of minimalist joinery traditions, provides a structural counterpoint to the surface embellishment. Graphic motifs, derived from the natural exfoliation patterns of plane tree bark, introduce an organic visual rhythm. This interplay of precise geometry and naturalistic abstraction creates a dynamic aesthetic. The cabinet's intended function as a storage piece is underscored by its clean lines, allowing its unique surface treatment to become a focal point within an interior.
